Money Making Weekly Report - Week 10
| This is now the tenth week of my Money Making Mission. The aim being to try and earn money, using only free blogs and without any capital outlay. I'm quite pleased with how things are going, though there is always room for improvement. My earnings have increased now to US$470.32 / UK£261.29. It's interesting that the two best affiliate schemes, as you will see below, are from the friends and contact sector. I think the figures shown are self explanatory. All sums are cumulative for the ten weeks. Money Commission Junction - £48 AdSense $28.50 Amazon UK 51p You Gov £5.25. Adbrite $0.96 FriendFinderGroup $121.54 Advertising Revenue £36.40 Convergence Inc = $40.40 (over 18's only) Sexy Ads - $64.60 (over 18's only) DIY Dating - £19.26 Helium - 20c myLot - $17.17 As there are two currencies (USA and UK) involved the totals amount to the equivalent of: UK£261.29 or US$470.32 Moving on now to the blog's visitors. Referrals From Blog Directories. Cumulative figures. As you will see Top Lists are still well ahead in the referral stakes and are therefore 'My Top Directory'. King Of The Blogs remains in second position. There a still dozens of directories that have failed to produce even one visitor. The figures below give and indication of Blog Directories (and Blog Hit Exchanges) that may be worth joining. Cumulative figures. As you will have read I am no longer using Hit Exchanges for this blog. I have transfered any clicks to other blogs that do no have AdSense adverts. I will drop these figures from my Weekly Reports soon. The figures do show, however, that these sort of things do work if it's more traffic that you want. Blog Mad - 281 Blog Explosion - 244 Blog Soldiers - 224 Search Engine Referrals Google is now starting to do well, there were 60 referrals from their search engine last week. The others are much slower. Google - 171 (+60 on week) Technorati - 68 (+7) MSN - 10 (+3) Live.com - 2 (+2) Other Referrals My top six referrers from exchanging links are: My Quest To Make Money On The Internet (120) The Million Dollar Experiment (60) Fantasy Football And Stuff (54) Just Call Me Juice Sports Blog (50) Life With Kreg (46) JCM's RPG Art (38) As well as the above, my thanks as always, to everyone I have exchanged links with - much appreciated. You will see their links listed in the side column under 'Interesting Blogs'. By exchanging links it helps all concerned not just with the referrals but also with search engine rankings. If anyone else would like to exchange links please send me an email or leave a comment. I've also had all sorts of other referrals from free ads, forums, articles I have posted and so on. The main success is still, by far, My Lot from whom I have now had 196 referrals and the added bonus of $17.17 commission aw well. See my post for details. I would say in second place in this category is 1000000 Links with 24. The new advertising scheme Plugged-N I joined yesterday has already brought me in a few referrals. I think that covers my week.
