Money Making Weekly Report - Week 11
| This is now the eleventh week of my Money Making Mission. The aim being to try and earn money, using only free blogs and without any capital outlay. I am pleased that I have achieved one of the targets I set myself, which was to go through the $500 barrier this year. When I started out eleven weeks ago I wasn't too sure in which direction I would go with my blog. All I really knew is that I wanted to have a go at making some money with free blogs. I still have a lot to learn about blogging but, as the weeks tick by, I learn or realise a little more. I think the figures below are self explanatory. All sums are cumulative for the ten weeks. Money Commission Junction - £48 AdSense $33.85 Amazon UK 51p You Gov £5.75. Adbrite $0.96 FriendFinderGroup $132.87 Advertising Revenue £36.40 Convergence Inc = $46.20 (over 18's only) Sexy Ads - $64.60 (over 18's only) DIY Dating - £19.26 Helium - 33c myLot - $24.52 As there are two currencies (USA and UK) involved the totals amount to the equivalent of: UK£278.45 or US$501.21 Moving on now to the blog's visitors. Referrals From Blog Directories. Cumulative figures. You may have read my recent post on Blog Directories. Despite what others may have said nothing has made me change my mind from my original opinion. As you will see Rhys's Top Lists is by far the outstanding directory, as far as I am concerned. The figures below may give ann indication of Blog Directories (and Blog Hit Exchanges) that may be worth joining. Cumulative figures. Again I have given my thoughts on Hit Exchanges in another recent post Is Traffic From Hit Exchanges Worthwhile. Some readers have disgreed with my opinion but that's what makes life interesting - we all reach different conclusions. Blog Mad - 281 Blog Explosion - 244 Blog Soldiers - 224 Search Engine Referrals It's great that Google is beginning now to send traffic to this blog (94 referrals this week). Long may they continue. Google - 256 (+94 on week) Technorati - 74 (+6) MSN - 11 (+1) Live.com - 2 (+2) Other Referrals My top six referrers from exchanging links are: My Quest To Make Money On The Internet (132) The Million Dollar Experiment (69) Fantasy Football And Stuff (60) Just Call Me Juice Sports Blog (53) Life With Kreg (48) JCM's RPG Art (43) As well as the above, my thanks as always, to everyone I have exchanged links with - much appreciated. Still going well is My Lot from whom I have now had 222 referrals in total (plus commission of $24.52). See my post for details. Plugged-N, which I joined last week, have brought in a few referrals, not quite up to their claims but, as it's free and still early days, I mustn't grumble! I think that covers my week.
