General Money Making Updates
| A few updates and general money making chat. I've just logged into my Wealth Toolbox account and my balance has now gone up to $60. That's $50 to $60 in one day. That's some investment! Just in case anyone missed yesterdays post, I'm not recommending this program. Far from it, I'm saying don't touch it with a bargepole! I also checked in to PayPerPost to see how my account is doing. I've now done three sponsored posts for them but only one has been approved to date. Approval seems to take 10+ days. What I did notice, however, was that two bloggers have written a review about one of my posts - again these haven't had time, as yet, to be approved. If they are I get $15! This does seem a good deal. The writer gets $7.50 and so do I. If you want to do the same, and are not a member of PayPerPost, the info is here or just click on the button at the end of this post. The other similar sponsored program I joined, ReviewMe, I haven't heard a dickie bird from. I signed up on the 15th of January but haven't received any offers. I guess their payment of $60 per post isn't a lot of good if you don't actually get any to write. I wasn't going to mention TreasureTrooper again but I also popped in there today to check on things. I only ever took up one offer, as a test, on the 8th of February. The $1.50 I was supposed to 'earn' still hasn't been credited to my account. Why are a lot of these programs so slow? It really bugs me. You can see my rating and report on them here. The offer I did was to submit a poem (I just wrote a quick poem I knocked up in a few minutes) and possibly win a prize. I knew this was a con but nevertheless wanted to see what would happen. Firstly my poem was considered 'excellent' (what a surprise!) and was being entered into the next round of the competition. In fact, it was so excellent, they wanted to publish it in their next book ... and if I wanted to send them $x amount of money I could have a copy of the book - huh! What they are doing is vanity publishing and coercing gullible people into buying overpriced books. As is often said: flattery will get you anywhere. It's a familiar pattern. I suppose I shouldn't call it a con as most likely the books are published, so the 'poet' gets his or her product. As I haven't responded to their invitation I've been bombarded with emails and even mail from the USA to my home address in the UK. Serves me right! It's strange that, with my poem being so excellent, I can't find it on their website Poetry.com. Maybe I'm not quite the budding Longfellow or Byron I thought I was. I always feel a bit guilty mentioning that I've had a payment notification from Convergence Inc. Why? Because I know some readers won't approve. You see, they sell adult products, I won't go into details! I'll just say please don't visit the link unless you are broadminded and over 18 years of age. If you do click you'll see that you can have your own free store. Enough said. What I did previously forget to mention was that I didn't receive a payment from myLot this month. This should have been paid on February 15th but the payment has now been altered to March 15th. We'll see what happens next month before I go making any wrong assumptions. That's all for today. Good luck, Mike. you are right, Treasuretrooper payment approval is very slow and Cashcrate is much better then that for US and Canada customers. I also came across cashontap (I got a few on my list now and will create a post on these on my blog) which is similar to Cashcrate and has offers for US and Canada. I guess people from other countries can join but to promote only.
btw, I did got paid this month from mylot about $20.

Mike,
Like you I noticed that PayPerPost are taking their time to approve the posts but when I checked my account I noticed that the time left before I get paid reflects the delay in approval so I'm only having to wait 20 days for payment rather than the nominal 30. So, I'm happy that the approval doesn't impact payment (assuming post is approved of course)

techexplorer: Nice to hear that you got paid by myLot. These programs like TreasureTrooper aren't really for me. I just wanted to try one out.
John: Thanks for that. I hadn't noticed that about PayPerPost - I guess that's fair (if approved).
pd: You know, I haven't even thought about scores on PPP! You've got me thinking!
Thanks all,
Mike.
