Money Making Weekly Report - Week 46
| I'm now at week 46 of my Money Making Mission. The aim being to try and earn money, using only free blogs and without any capital outlay. At last, through the $3000 barrier: $3063.52!! Below are programs I am currently promoting - in alphabetical order, with a few comments. Adbrite - Nil I moaned about Adbrite again on Monday so I won't say anymore. I'll remove them from my list for next week's report. AdSense $548.08 A little better than the previous week but I'm still not back to my best week totals - yet! Amazon UK £4.34 ($8.64) Nothing to say. AuctionAds $28.58 No commission shown for this week. Autograph Dealer Nil I'll remove this one from my list for next week - just haven't got anywhere with it despite over 13000 page impressions. Convergence Inc $156.60 (over 18's only) They sent me a check this week for the $14 I mentioned last week - quick payers. Adult only products. DIY Dating £72.99 ($145.25) DIY offer a free dating website with choice of designs and content plus use of their massive database. Has possibilities. Received commission this week. FriendFinderGroup $677.46 My top earner. No problems, commission paid regularly (when over $50). Over 20 websites to promote ranging from Christian and Jewish friendship to Adults and Bondage! Caters for most interests. Helium $13.10 IcePoster Nil They have altered their affiliate terms - now 10% commission and $100 threshold for payment to be sent out. Afraid this will be the third program to be disappear from my list for next week. I've just removed their ads from my blogs. myLot $59.43 This is going well at the moment. I also have $101 of sponsored posts waiting to be approved. Payments made on time - once the posts have been on the blog for 30 days. Sexy Ads $322.73 (over 18's only) I recieved a check from them yesterday for $34.97. A well run, efficient affiliate program - if suitable for your blog! You Gov £47.75 ($95.02) I wrote a post about YouGov on Tuesday. Genuine survey company - want more panel members in UK, USA and the Middle East. I've also made money from Commission Junction, Cashlinkr, Daytipper, but I no longer promote these. Plus have received additional money from direct advertising and misc. revenue. Where do you get the Friendfinder customers from ? I signed up a couple of months ago, there've been around 60 people have visited the Friendfinder site but so far none of them have signed up? Is it a question of numbers or do you need to publicize it by writing about it ? Regards, Vic
Are these weekly earnings? Or total for the 46 weeks?

Regarding FriendFinder I also promote this on my celebrity blogs plus I have written about the program on this blog several times.
I also get commissions from people I have introduced.

I have written about 12 sponsored postings for Sponsored Reviews, and that was the reason why I started The Money Blog - my original blog is just not a good vehicle for that kind of thing.
About Pay Per Post, I uploaded a posting for them 5 days ago and it is still marked as pending. How long does it normally take before they pull their fingers out? As things stand all I am doing is giving those buggers some free publicity.
Secondly, I wrote to Sexy Ads with a view to taking their stuff on both my sites, but they have not replied. Why can companies not get their act together when money is involved?
