Money Made With News Feeds
| On Monday I wrote a post Making Money With News Feeds. I said that I had just joined the Voxant Newsroom as a trial to it possibly making money. I thought I'd report back today as it has gone quite well so far. As you will see from the stats below, for the period from Monday afternoon (when I joined) until 8 a.m. this morning, I have made $63.35.  This exceeds what I would make from say AdSense for the same roughly two-and-a-half day period.On initial appearances, therefore, Voxant looks promising providing: (a) You have quite high traffic to your blog. (b) You are willing to have the video newsfeed on your blog so that they will run instantly when someone opens your page. As an example I have this running now on this blog, though it will not happen once the original post disappears from the front page. I'm using Voxant mainly for my celebrity blogs. As you will see from the stats shown as yet I've had little response from others embedding material that has been run on my blogs - but it's early days so far. If you compare Voxant to something like AuctionAds there is only one winner. This month with AuctionAds I have had 71,060 page impressions and just 47 clicks giving me only $7.97 earnings. That is simply fantastic - I can imagine tho' it is a risk on blogs for 'serious' bloggers - they usually get turned off when they see such things.
That's great news Mike - I hadn't even heard of Voxant Newsroom. Sadly my little empire isn't scraping 1000 hits per day total yet. Guess the retirement is still some way off :(

Thanks for your comments. I take your point, yc, about 'serious' bloggers. The videos have to go on the right blogs - horses for courses so to speak. The videos don't have to automatically be switched on when someone visits the site - but this will probably earn less money.

Mike, I cannot find the embed button, Im getting desperate because my blogs receive a total of 30000 views per day !!!!, I need to embed the code and I cannot find it !!!. Please help me, tell me where is it !.

Now I am wondering why the CPM is so high....I mean, with a lot of effort and several sites you easily reach 50000 views per day on you site, that way you would be making tons of money from this source....will they pay this high in the future?....seems unreal money to me
Mike, I have another question, how much time did you have to wait before the results began to show up in your revenue control panel.
anonymous: Guess you've answered the questions by now. Sorry I'm a bit slow this week. The revenue is updated every day - but only the once.
Too good to be true? Hope not! Time will tell and I'll let readers know when I receive a cheque.
