Money From YouGov
| Just back from my short break. We stayed in a country lodge, which was perfect, and even the sun shone for us. Anyway, a quick post before the football (soccer) and rugby start. England are playing Estonia at football, so that shouldn't be a problem, and then later on it's the semi-final of the Rugby World Cup against France - which could go either way, though fingers crossed! I received a cheque for £50 (about $100) from YouGov while I was away, which confirms what I have kept saying: they are a genuine survey company.YouGov carry out regular polls for UK national newspapers (Daily Telegraph and Sunday Times) as well as for Sky television news - plus for a host of other organisations as well. Unfortunately they only operate in the UK, USA and the Middle East at the present time. Payments are made for completing surveys and polls and also for introducing new panel members. If you are into this sort of thing give them a try. YouGov won't make you rich, but every little extra helps. Haven't had time to catch up on my stats to see what happened while I was away. Hopefully will be able to do this tomorrow - following two England wins! Good luck, Mike. Above was yet another spam merchant telling me how I'd make over $24 million! Are they nuts?
Takes all sorts.
Mike.
Great news Mike. I told you that YouGov was pukka!
Apparently that ebook I mentioned yesterday isn't so good after all - the small print reveals the offer has already ended and it stinks of email harvester to me. Still, at least it's a free ebook if nothing else.
welcome back Mike, looks like I was a bit to confident about the all blacks! Good win by England this am. Looks to probably be an England | Boks final
Rob
Thanks Tom, I was just about to go and look at the e-book.
Rob: I should think it'll be the Boks in the final but it's been a strange world cup. I didn't hold up much hope for England at the beginning of the tournament. No NZ or Australia left, who'd have thought that!
Mike.
Are you guys talking about the Russell Brunson ebook? That free $1 thing has ended (was for about a week) and it was to grow his email list for his current new product.
I wonder what the odds are for England in the final. I was on them in the last final (it was the only wager I had on rugby so far). The Springboks look mighty strong this time, but I have trouble going with favs nowadays.
Hope you had a good break, Mike! Great to see you back again!
